Online Friday Night Games
Join CULT for Trivial Fun One Friday Night Each Month!
One Friday night per month, players from across the U.S. and the globe join trivia host Julie Laut for some seriously trivial fun. Launched in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, in March 2020 with just a few close friends, CU Lockdown Trivia's (CULT) Friday night games bring together teams matching wits over unique trivia content. There is no fee to play and all are welcome. Players are encouraged to donate to featured non-profits and to help sustain CULT through periodic or sustained support.

How the game works:
Signing up: Teams of up to six (6) players sign up via a webform (see top right of this webpage) between noon CT Monday mornings and 9 am CT prior to each game. All players will receive an invite to the game by noon CT. Feel free to study for the theme round!
Game prep: Julie opens the Zoom meeting at 7:00 pm CT. Players should sign in by 7:15 pm to ensure the breakouts rooms are organized by game time. A unique playlist of songs related to the night's theme plays from 7:00-7:30 pm.

Game time: The game consists of four rounds of 10 questions each, which are read aloud and then pasted into the chat box. Teams have 15 minutes in breakout rooms between rounds to consult. Answers are emailed to julie@culockdowntrivia.org. The game typically ends by 9:30 pm CT.
